Spring sailing in North Dalmatia – Day 3. Primosten
The next day we woke up to perfect weather, sunshine and beautiful clouds, and according to the forecast perfect wind was awaiting us between the islands.
While we were having breakfast, we had a beautiful view of Murter. Todays destination is Primosten, a nice little peninsula farther to the south west about 30NM
After we managed to navigate safely between the islands with shallow depth, we were passing the Prisnjak Lighthouse
The forecast was true this time, we had a perfect 12-15kn, so we were able to show our guest finally what is coastal sailing is really about without getting soaked or escaping from the thunder just enjoying the sun the sea and the wind 🙂
After we reached Primosten we were motoring into the bay to take some photos of this picturesque little town. Marina Kremik is one of the best protected marinas on the Adriatic. Instead of the usual mooring lines here you have floating pontoons, so prepare your fenders accordingly just above the waterline. My cousin and his wife had a wedding anniversary today, we offered them to visit the old town for a dinner but they liked the setting and the marina so much they said “What could be any better than this?” So we cooked our dinner and opened a bottle of wine they brought for the occasion and were just enjoying the sunset.
